Welcome
I'm so glad you're here!
You're feeling overwhelmed with feedings, not sure if you can continue on. Your breasts are sore; your nipples are hurting. You have come to the right place!
Your baby just can't seem to figure out how to eat well. You're stressed about milk supply and trying to figure out pumping. You have come to the right place!
You're overwhelmed and exhausted and in need of support. You have come to the right place!
Lactation Consultations
Keeping your baby well-fed and your own body healthy and producing milk at optimal levels is sometimes so simple, and other times, it can feel very challenging and complex. Whatever you're feeling, you are not alone.
I'm here to listen to your unique situation and create an individualized care plan with you so you can continue working towards your breastfeeding goals, whatever they may be.
I understand that each parent's situation is unique, and I'm happy to support you in your infant feeding choices.
Many visits are free of charge to my clients through accepted insurance plans.
Note: I recommend having your first postpartum visit in-person, when possible. You can, however, schedule all of your visits virtually if that is your preference.
Initial Postpartum Visit (in-person or virtual)
An in-depth visit with time to do a feeding or pumping session together if needed, and it will be personalized to your specific situation. We will spend time discussing your health history as well as your baby's health history. We will have the option of doing a weighted feeding during the visit if you wish (weighing baby before and after feedings to get an estimate of milk intake at the breast) (available during in-person visit only). At the end of the visit we will formulate a personalized care plan for you and your baby to best help you achieve your lactation goals.
Duration: 50-60 minutes
In-person visit: $175 (Self-pay price)
Virtual visit: $125 (Self-pay price)
Continuing Care Visit (in-person or virtual)
After our first postpartum visit, if you are continuing to need assistance with lactation then this is the visit for you! We will pick up right where we left off and continue to evaluate the ever-evolving feedings for your baby and your own experience with lactation. At the end of the visit we will formulate a personalized care plan for you and your baby to best help you achieve your lactation goals. You can register for as many of these visits as you need.
Duration: 50-60 minutes
In-person visit: $175 (Self-pay price)
Virtual visit: $125 (Self-pay price)
30 Minute Check-in (virtual)
Perfect for:
experienced parents who have a quick question regarding their baby's feeding journey; no major concerns for parent or baby
established clients who have already had at least one full consultation with me and feeding is now going well, but little questions still arise (such as, how to introduce solids at 6 months, preparing for weaning, teething)
This service is NOT for first-time parents who have not previously had a consultation with me, or parents with current significant feeding/lactation concerns, as 30 minutes is simply not enough time to complete an adequate evaluation and discuss a new care plan.
When you reach out to schedule this visit, I will let you know if I think the full-length visit will be better suited to meet your needs.
Self-pay Price: $60
Prenatal Lactation Visit (in-person or virtual)
An individualized visit to go over what to expect when your baby arrives, how to prepare for breastfeeding, and any other questions or concerns you may have regarding your lactation journey. Partners are encouraged to join.
Duration: 50-60 minutes
In-person visit: $175 (Self-pay price)
Virtual visit: $125 (Self-pay price)
